
Both brothers comfortably progressed through qualifying to secure their places in SuperPole.
Ashton Brightmore, returning to racing after an injury break, delivered a clean and composed lap to finish fifth. Mitch Brightmore was on track for an excellent result after setting impressive sector times, but a heavy crash in deep sand just before the finish line left him without a SuperPole result.

When the gate dropped in the Belgrade Arena, Mitch reacted perfectly to grab the holeshot and immediately set the pace at the front. Ashton slotted into the leading midfield while Mitch found himself locked in an intense battle with Billy Bolt.

The lead changed multiple times in a thrilling duel that kept the crowd on its feet. Despite pushing hard until the final moments, Mitch had to settle for second place, finishing just over two seconds behind the reigning champion.
Ashton delivered a solid comeback performance to cross the line in seventh, a strong result considering his time away from racing.
The reverse-grid format in race two placed both Brightmore brothers toward the back in the early stages. Staying composed and avoiding mistakes, they methodically worked their way forward.

Mitch climbed through the field and closed in on third place but ran out of time to launch a final move, finishing fourth.
Ashton once again showed determination and resilience, securing another seventh-place finish as he continued rebuilding race sharpness.
In the final race, Mitch quickly positioned himself in third and attached himself to the leading group. Ashton suffered a crash in the opening corner and was forced into another recovery ride from the back of the pack.

The battle for the podium intensified as Mitch advanced into second and pushed to stay within striking distance of the leader. Ashton mounted yet another strong comeback, finishing seventh for the third time on the night.
Mitch’s consistency paid off with another impressive second-place finish, reinforcing his status as a regular podium contender.


The X-GRIP Racing Team leaves Serbia encouraged by Ashton’s competitive return and Mitch’s continued progression. Mitch is steadily establishing himself as a genuine threat for race wins, while Ashton is expected to take another step forward at the upcoming home round in Newcastle, England.
