Beta expands its enduro range for MY 2027 with the launch of the new XTrainer 200 2T, a model that joins the already popular XTrainer 300 2T.
Known for its versatility, friendly character and ability to tackle technical terrain, the XTrainer line now becomes even more accessible. The new 200cc model is designed for a wide range of riders, from off-road beginners and younger riders to more experienced enduro fans looking for a light, agile and fun machine for hard enduro trails.

The new XTrainer 200 2T uses an engine that started from Beta’s X-Pro models, but has been developed specifically for the needs of the XTrainer range.
The focus is clear: smooth power, easy control and strong low-end torque. Beta has revised the exhaust and transfer ports, cylinder head, piston, exhaust valve timing and ignition mapping to create a more linear and manageable power delivery.
The result is a bike designed to offer confidence in technical terrain, with enough torque from low revs to help riders through slow sections, climbs, ruts, mule tracks and rocky trails.
The XTrainer has always been about RideAbility, and the new 200 keeps that philosophy alive. With electric start, low seat height, automatic oil injection and a softer, more controllable engine character, the bike is aimed at riders who want performance without fighting a full-size machine all day.
For younger riders, smaller riders, or anyone looking for something easier to manage in hard terrain, the XTrainer 200 could become a very interesting option.
The rear wheel uses a 140/80 tyre on an 18 x 1.85-inch rim, chosen to keep the right balance between traction, ground contact and agility.

The new 200 engine is fitted into an updated frame developed specifically for this model, while keeping the core geometry of the 300cc XTrainer.
Beta says the goal was to preserve the typical XTrainer feel: good balance, easy control and precision in technical situations. Combined with the new engine character, the 200 is designed to be predictable, comfortable and enjoyable when the trail gets difficult.
The best-selling XTrainer 300 2T also returns for MY 2027, receiving more robust and functional updates. While the 300 remains the stronger and more established model, the new 200 opens a fresh niche inside the XTrainer family, offering a more docile and agile alternative.
Together, the two models give riders a choice between the proven torque of the 300 and the lighter, more accessible feel of the new 200.

Both the XTrainer 200 2T and XTrainer 300 2T receive a number of updates for 2027.
The range gets a new LED headlight and headlight mask, giving the bike a more modern identity and improved visibility. Beta has also introduced completely revised graphics, a new red colour scheme and, for the first time on the XTrainer line, a black-painted frame.
Other shared updates include a redesigned chain guide, a stronger front sprocket guard and an updated rear brake disc. The braking system remains from Nissin, with a 260mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, now using a solid wavy-profile rear disc for more progressive braking in slow and technical sections.

The 2027 XTrainer range continues with the features that made the model so popular: low seat height, light weight, electric start, automatic oil injection, cooling fan, soft tyres and fully adjustable suspension.
The suspension package includes R16V 43mm front forks and a progressive linkage rear shock, with adjustment available for preload and rebound at the front, and spring preload, compression and rebound at the rear.
Both 2-stroke models also keep Beta’s adjustable Progressive Power Valve, allowing riders to fine-tune power delivery to match their riding style and terrain.
The new Beta XTrainer MY 2027 range is expected to be available from mid-June.
With the arrival of the new 200 2T, Beta gives the XTrainer family a fresh direction: lighter, more accessible and more playful, while still keeping the hard enduro spirit that made the model such a popular choice.
