Developed entirely from scratch, the new Plews Tyres EN1 Grand Prix range introduces a significantly softer next-generation performance compound, designed to dramatically increase wet grip and overall traction. Combined with a newly engineered carcass construction — developed in the UK under the direction of Technical Director Ashley Vowles — the 2026 platform promises major gains in control, stability, bump absorption, and race performance across demanding enduro terrain.
For 2026, Plews is offering two distinct EN1 Grand Prix variants, targeting both elite competition riders and performance-focused enthusiasts.
This version is fully compliant with FIM and ACU regulations, featuring the mandatory 13mm maximum tread depth required for EnduroGP, Sprint Enduro, and traditional Time Card Enduro competition.
It is also ECE road approved, offering race-to-road versatility for riders competing in regulated events.

The headline innovation for 2026 is the introduction of the EN1 Grand Prix Spec B — described as the world’s first FIM-style 140/80-18 enduro race pattern built with a higher 15mm tread depth.
Inspired by the success of the Tough One Spec B concept and developed in response to direct rider demand, this variant delivers increased traction in soft ground, mud, rocks, and extreme conditions. Crucially, while it exceeds FIM/ACU tread depth limits, it remains fully ECE road legal — making it suitable for enduro riding, green laning, training, and non-FIM competition.
Unlike extreme enduro tyres, the Spec B maintains a true enduro race pattern while offering additional grip where riders want it most.
Both EN1 variants share the same new 2026 compound and UK-developed carcass platform, ensuring consistent improvements in:
“This new generation of EN1 represents a major performance leap,” Plews Tyres stated. “The new compound delivers huge improvements in wet grip and feel, while the new construction gives riders more stability and control than ever before. And with the introduction of the world-first Spec B Grand Prix variant, we’ve given riders exactly what they’ve been asking for — more traction without sacrificing road legality.”
The 2026 EN1 Grand Prix rear tyre range is available now in:
Both variants carry full ECE road approval. Available at Nordica Moto.
