The final day at Hard Enduro Arsenal brought a fast-paced Cross-Country course shared across all classes—a true sprint to the finish!
With a four-minute gap to close, Jozsa Norbert Levente, rider for Master Bike Cluj, had a mountain to climb. Over a two-hour race format, recovering that kind of time would be a near-impossible mission.
However, free from the arm-pump issues that plagued him earlier in the event, Norbi attacked the track aggressively, setting the race pace and taking control of the lead. Incredibly, he clawed back three of the four minutes he needed—falling just a minute and a bit short.
“Today, I finally got rid of the arm-pump problems and pushed hard! The track was very fast, and somehow I managed to get just over three minutes ahead of David. I felt great on the bike, but I was still missing that final minute.” – Norbi
Meanwhile, David Cyprian, who had led for most of the race, faced unexpected technical problems that slowed him down.
“The last day at Hard Enduro Arsenal found me in fourth place, but I managed to keep my advantage in the overall standings. A small technical issue today forced me to slow down. Honestly, the last day wasn’t really my style—the track was too fast and too dangerous for me. Now I’m looking forward to the next race in Romania—EnduroPanorama!” – David told Zona Enduro
The big surprise of the round? Kornel Ott! Newly promoted to the PRO class, he impressed everyone with his consistent pace. Ott finished second today, just one minute behind Norbi, and secured his spot on the overall podium, edging out Rigor Rico.
The final Top 5 for the PRO class is rounded out by Rigor Rico and Raul Pătrău.
In the VETERAN category, Zdenek Ciprian took the win, followed by Tibor Hostyanszki and Bartolomiej Niedziolka.
(Stroisteanu Bart showed that beyond trophies and titles, family always comes first. In the face of this loss, the entire Hard Enduro community stands by him with thoughts of support and respect.)
The EXPERT class saw Ignat David Ioan dominate, finishing seven minutes ahead of Mădălin Chelcea, while Timo Bergmann—TACS PROTEC rider—secured a strong third place, staying close to the younger front-runners. Marin Raul finished fourth, and Kancik Radovan completed the Top 5.
In the HOBBY category, Ilie Sterp was the fastest rider, chased by Ioan Alionescu. Eduard Petcu secured third place, with Tigu Catalin and Moga Alexandru rounding out the Top 5.
