After Red Bull Romaniacs, we caught up with Dani Oțil, who, as many of you already know, completed another edition of the race this year — this time on an electric Stark VARG.
During our short post-race chat, somewhere between race stories and the usual “what worked, what didn’t” discussion, TACS came up. Yes, the Tyre Air Control System — the system that allows rear-tyre pressure to be monitored and adjusted directly on an enduro motorcycle.
For us, TACS is nothing new. We’ve had the system on one of our bikes since almost prototype stage, and after hundreds of hours of Hard Enduro, it still works just like it did on day one.So naturally, as soon as we finished talking with Dani, we called the guys at TACS.
The question was simple: “TACS on a Stark VARG?” We wanted to know more. Immediately.
One Day Later, We Had the Answer
And the answer was exactly what we hoped for. The TACS Tyre Air Control System is fully compatible with the Stark VARG. Even better, the installation has been developed with the same attention to detail we’ve come to expect from TACS: clean, compact and as race-ready as possible.

That is probably the part we like most about working with the TACS team. Their technology keeps evolving, but more importantly, they adapt quickly. New motorcycle, new platform, different technical layout — they find a solution and make it work without turning the bike into a wiring experiment.
Two Technologies That Make a Lot of Sense Together
The combination with the Stark VARG is especially interesting. You already have one of the most advanced enduro motorcycles available, and now you can add the ability to adjust rear-tyre pressure at the push of a button. That means riders looking for maximum traction can adapt pressure quickly depending on the terrain, conditions or speed — without stopping to manually change the setup.

For Hard Enduro, where grip can change completely from one section to the next, that kind of control can make a real difference. And on a bike like the Stark VARG, the integration feels completely natural. Modern motorcycle. Modern traction solution.
Built to Be Used, Not Just Look Good
We’ve already seen how well TACS survives real Hard Enduro conditions. Mud, rocks, water, crashes, long race days — after hundreds of hours, the system we’ve been using continues to work reliably. Now seeing the same technology adapted so quickly to the Stark VARG shows exactly how much the product has evolved. This is not just about making something fit. It is about making it fit properly. Clean installation, practical operation and a setup ready to race.

For anyone chasing traction in every situation, at every speed, rear-tyre pressure adjustment is now only one button away. We’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking.

Most riders still argue for 20 minutes in the paddock about whether they need 0.20 or 0.50 bar. TACS just says: press the button and keep riding. Add that to a Stark VARG and suddenly even the tyre pressure has gone electric! And one more thing… STARK FUTURE, make an app for the System!
