Billy Bolt continued his remarkable unbeaten streak in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, delivering a commanding performance at round four in Budapest, Hungary. With SuperPole and all three Prestige-class race wins aboard his Husqvarna FE 350, Bolt further strengthened his championship lead, while Mitch Brightmore once again showed he is among his toughest challengers this season and Jonny Walker put in strong efforts throughout the night.

The Budapest arena track proved physical and unforgiving from the start, demanding precision, clean lines, and controlled aggression. In timed practice and SuperPole, Brightmore raised eyebrows by posting a competitive lap before Bolt responded when it mattered most. In the deciding SuperPole run, Bolt rode a measured but flawless lap to clock the fastest time with a 32.012s effort, earning first gate pick and three championship points.

Race one delivered intense early action. Walker and Bolt both encountered disruptions in the opening laps, allowing Stark riders, including Toby Martyn, to lead initially. Bolt battled through scrappy conditions and once in striking position he capitalized on mistakes ahead to claim the win. Brightmore showcased his recovery speed after an earlier clash with riders, closing in on the podium, while Walker fought back to place inside the top group.
In the reverse-grid second final, Harry Edmondson initially led, with Diogo Vieira briefly prominent. Bolt rode smartly through the early laps, moving into third and then taking command before two laps were complete. Brightmore also made significant progress, climbing toward second, but Bolt’s pace proved decisive as he extended his lead for another victory. Walker battled through traffic after a tricky opening section but still found his way back into competitive contention.

Brightmore delivered an aggressive start in race three, grabbing the holeshot and initially holding the lead. Bolt responded quickly, taking over early and appearing in control once more. A mid-race error by Brightmore allowed Bolt to regain a clear advantage, and he kept his composure to seal his third race win of the evening, despite pressure from his rival riders.

Bolt’s clean sweep of SuperPole and all three finals in Budapest extends his lead in the 2026 SuperEnduro standings to a commanding margin. With three rounds left in the season, he now holds an advantage that puts him in strong position for a possible title run. Brightmore’s consistent podium presence highlights his evolution into a serious championship contender, while Walker’s pace continues to underline his speed and resilience.
Billy Bolt said:
“It’s been a great night here in Budapest. The track had a nice flow, but I didn’t feel like I was the fastest rider all night, so to still come away with the overall win feels really good. I focused on staying calm, putting myself in the right positions and keeping mistakes to a minimum. Mitch rode really well, especially in the last race, so the battle was on. Three wins and another perfect night is something I’m very happy with.”
