Reigning world champion Billy Bolt couldn’t have asked for a better start to the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. The Husqvarna Factory Racing rider delivered a commanding performance in Gliwice, Poland, taking the overall victory at round one with a 1-2-1 scorecard and walking away with a maximum 60 points to open the season at the top of the standings.

Bolt kicked off the night in style by posting the fastest lap in SuperPole, earning three crucial points and first gate pick for race one. It was the perfect launchpad for what would become a near-flawless evening indoors.
Making full use of his prime gate position, Billy nailed the start and grabbed the holeshot. From there, he immediately took control, riding with precision and confidence as he stretched his advantage at the front. Lapping several riders along the way, Bolt crossed the line four seconds clear to secure his first race win of the season.
Starting from the second row under the reverse-grid format, race two proved more challenging. Bolt charged through the pack to slot into a three-way fight for the lead by the end of the opening lap. A small mistake briefly stalled his progress, but the Brit regrouped quickly, pushing hard to recover and claim a solid second place aboard his FE 350.

Back on the front row for the final race, Bolt wasted no time. Another perfect start handed him the holeshot, and once again he checked out from the field. Riding smoothly and under full control, he managed the race to perfection, taking the win by over five seconds and sealing the overall victory for the night.
With his 1-2-1 results, Bolt continues an incredible run of overall SuperEnduro victories dating back through the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons. After round one, he holds a 12-point lead in the championship as the series heads to Germany.

The 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship resumes with round two in Riesa, Germany, on January 3.
Billy Bolt:
“Round one here in Poland is done and it’s been a really solid start to the season. The track was challenging and the dirt made it tricky to push at times, but overall things came together well. I managed the races smartly and felt strong across the night. I had a big moment in race two, but I was able to recover and limit the damage. To come away with the overall win is something I’m very happy with. See you in Riesa!”
