KTM has unveiled its 2027 XC and XC-F range, continuing the brand’s long-standing push at the sharp end of Cross Country racing. Developed as a purpose-built package for Hare & Hound and Scramble racing, the new lineup is designed to deliver race-ready performance straight out of the showroom.

With strong roots in modern GNCC competition, KTM’s Cross Country machines have built a reputation for being podium-capable weapons. For 2027, the Austrian brand keeps that formula alive by combining proven performance with updates inspired directly by KTM Factory Racing experience.

Fresh look, same factory attitude

Visually, the 2027 KTM XC and XC-F models receive an updated colorway and graphics package that sharpens their factory identity. The most visible change is the addition of bold red highlights on the tank shrouds, giving the bikes a fresher and more aggressive look while keeping the unmistakable KTM style intact.

KTM says the finish is applied using its proven in-mold graphics technology, helping the bikes maintain that clean factory look even under the punishment of serious off-road racing.

Proven engines and race-focused chassis

At the heart of the 2027 XC range are KTM’s proven class-leading engines, all paired with 6-speed transmissions developed specifically for the demands of Cross Country racing.

The chassis package remains focused on stability, predictability and rider feel over long race distances. The lightweight chromoly steel frame is designed to position the engine for ideal mass centralization and anti-squat behavior, two key factors when trying to maintain speed and control through constantly changing terrain.

WP suspension keeps it planted

Suspension duties are handled by the WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring fork and WP XACT shock, with standard settings shaped by extensive factory racing experience.
