FIM SuperEnduro World Championship had a blasting opening round in Poland where Alfredo Gomez and Rieju started a new 100% Spanish collaboration!
The night started almost perfect for Alfredo Gomez, he was 3rd in the Free Practice, but in Time Practice the chain came off due to a bent chain guide. “We managed to get the bike repaired but this cost me a lot of time, and I qualified 11th.”
As you all seen, the track was a hard one, with lots of roots, a big challenge for all riders. “I struggled a little bit because the track was quite rough, and starting from 2nd row is not an easy job. The bike is not bad, we still need to improve, but for the first race in this combination, a 5-6-7 and a 6th overall is not bad. And racing in front of 14k spectators is something that only Poland can offer!”
