2027 Sherco Xtrem 250 and 300: Real Factory Hard Enduro Replicas

Sherco has unveiled the 2027 Xtrem 250 and 300, two limited-production two-strokes built for riders who want a much more serious Hard Enduro package straight from the showroom.

First introduced as an official production model for 2025, the Xtrem has become Sherco’s dedicated answer for extreme riding. Both 2027 versions are based on the existing 250 SE Factory and 300 SE Factory platforms, but receive a long list of factory-inspired components, protection and traction-focused upgrades.

The Bike Behind a Roof of Africa Victory

There is also a very current racing connection behind the 300. Teodor Kabakchiev raced the Sherco Xtrem 300 to victory at the 2026 Roof of Africa, giving the platform a major Hard Enduro win before the new model even reaches many customers.

That makes the “factory replica” description more meaningful than a set of graphics alone. The Xtrem is built around the same type of equipment Sherco’s extreme-enduro riders need when races turn into hours of rocks, climbs, mud and punishment.

250 or 300 – With a Special Setup for Traction

Both engine capacities receive the same core Xtrem equipment, but the 300 gets a lower-compression cylinder-head dome designed to improve traction and make the engine easier to control in difficult terrain.

The blue CNC-machined head is joined by a heavy-duty clutch and Akrapovič silencer, creating a package aimed much more at technical extreme enduro than simply outright power.

More Than €3,500 in Special Parts

Sherco says each Xtrem receives more than €3,500 worth of special components, much of it equipment riders would normally buy after purchasing a standard enduro bike.

The 2027 package includes:

  • Factory-identical 2027 Xtrem graphics
  • Akrapovič silencer
  • Heavy-duty clutch
  • Carbon front brake disc guard
  • AXP radiator guards
  • CNC-machined cylinder-head dome
  • Lower-compression setup on the 300
  • Extra-grip Xtrem seat
  • Front and rear pull straps
  • Reinforced SCAR handlebar
  • CNC-machined rear brake disc guard
  • Reinforced AXP chain guide
  • Blue anodised CNC axle pullers
  • Black Xtrem skid plate
  • Clutch and ignition cover protectors
  • CNC-machined footpegs
  • Steel rear sprocket

The emphasis is obvious: protection, durability, traction and the ability to survive an extreme race.

A Proper Out-of-the-Box Hard Enduro Package

The pull straps, radiator protection, skid plate, brake disc guards and reinforced chain guide are exactly the kind of parts riders normally start installing before entering a serious Hard Enduro event. Even the steel rear sprocket is chosen for durability rather than chasing the lowest possible weight.

The grippy Xtrem seat uses pyramid-pattern strips to help keep the rider connected to the bike, while the reinforced SCAR handlebar and CNC footpegs continue the same race-focused approach.

2027 Sherco Xtrem Price

In the UK, both the Xtrem 250 and Xtrem 300 are priced at £10,899 and are already available. For comparison, Enduro21 lists the standard SE 250 Factory at £9,499 and the SE 300 Factory at £9,599, meaning the Xtrem premium is approximately £1,400 for the 250 and £1,300 for the 300.

Considering the number of aftermarket parts already installed, the idea is straightforward: buy the bike prepared rather than start with a Factory model and build the Hard Enduro package yourself.

Sherco’s Answer to the Ready-Made Extreme Bike

The 2027 Xtrem is not a completely different motorcycle underneath. Instead, Sherco takes its proven Factory two-stroke platform and adds the components that matter when the riding becomes properly ugly.

And with Kabakchiev already putting the 300 on top of the Roof of Africa, this particular factory-inspired package now has a pretty convincing racing reference behind it.
