Do’s and Don’ts with TACS PROTEC MOUSSE!

TACS PROTEC MOUSSE – Before you start using the mousse, here are a few do’s and don’ts.

First of all, we have to start with a short history of the mousse, and how and for what it was created. TACS Racing Systems made the revolutionary “on the go” TACS-PRO RACING – Tire Air Control System for dirt bikes, at a racing level, being durable and offering in the same time performance!

The guys tested the system (TACS-PRO RACING – Tire Air Control System) with Tubliss. We all know the risks of racing with a Tubliss System. If you are „lucky” to puncture the Tubliss/Tyre and your race/daily ride is gone. First they used self-cut half mousses, but here was a problem. The mousse will get into small pieces that will block the air system for working properly. Here, the TACS PROTEC MOUSSE gets life – by making the perfect half mousse that is there to protect the Tubliss, not to be runned as a MOUSSE by itself!

So, here are some do’s and don’ts.

DO’s

  • Lube your half mousse, not so heavily like a normal mousse, but throw in there some lube to keep the frictions low!
  • Do it regularly!
  • Ride with a minimum of 0.15 bar inside for the ultimate traction!

DON’ts

  • 0 PSI – Why? The traction will not increase with
    a mushy tyre that will not “grab” the rocks. Use at least 0.15 bar
    which is almost flat. With 0 you will ride on the Tubliss red tube which has 9
    bar inside

All you need to do is to keep a minimum of 0.15 Bar inside to enjoy the full benefit of this product! And yes, in case you start using it without pressure inside it will brake fast. The mousse is designed to take you home safe, to be able to finish a race, to protect your Tubliss system in case of a puncture!

We have one inside, and yes it got a damage after 40hours but is still usable. But when you are riding super soft tyres and you hit hard some of the obstacles, and if you are lucky enough to hit them with the rimlock of the Tubliss… things will happen but you will feel proud to pass them… :))

Did I know it was broke in half? NO! Did I feel that traction is gone? NO! Did the Tubliss break? NO. Did the TACS do its job? YEAS!
