Beta is breaking tradition this year, rolling out the RR Race MY 2026 earlier than usual. Normally, these race-spec machines drop in October, but the Tuscan brand couldn’t wait to unleash their latest upgrades. The Race editions are always the sharpest tools in Beta’s shed—tuned engines, refined suspension, and tricked-out components designed to deliver maximum performance while staying true to Beta’s trademark RideAbility.

2-Stroke RR Race 250 & 300
The 250cc two-stroke has been completely re-engineered, borrowing key parts from the 300. A shorter stroke (69.9 mm vs. 72 mm) paired with a larger bore (67.4 mm) keeps displacement at 250 cc but allows for smoother torque delivery across the rev range. A redesigned cylinder, new piston, and fresh cylinder head geometry fine-tune combustion.

Both the 250 and 300 now run a dual-spark system, bringing several benefits:
- More precise combustion = better fuel efficiency and stable carburation.
- Extended powerband with stronger torque.
- Backup system: if one plug dies, the engine keeps running (less power, but you’ll finish the race).
Crankcases now house bigger, stronger bearings, and the gearbox has been reworked—especially a longer 2nd gear—for smoother shifts into 3rd and more stability under race conditions.
2-Stroke RR Race 125 & 200
The baby of the family, the 125 Race, gets reinforced gears for sharper, more reliable shifting. The 200 Race sees updates to both primary and secondary transmissions. While ride feel remains unchanged, the drivetrain is now tougher and better equipped for long, punishing use.

4-Stroke RR Race Range
Beta’s 4-strokes all receive updated ECU maps. Power delivery has been smoothed and made more predictable, improving traction and control in gnarly terrain. Whatever the displacement, these bikes are easier to manage across the entire rev range.

Race Components Across the Range
Every Race edition packs premium hardware straight out of the box:
- KYB 48 mm closed-cartridge fork with fully adjustable damping and friction-reducing coatings.
- KYB C46 RCU shock, benchmark performance with adjustable high/low-speed compression and rebound.
- Quick-release front axle for faster wheel swaps mid-race.
- Reinforced two-material handguards for durability.
- Ergal alloy footpegs with steel pins, narrower but with improved grip.
- ZF rear sprocket: aluminium core + steel teeth = light but strong.
- Race seat with non-slip cover and document pocket.
- Black anodized brake pedal and gear lever, red anodized filler caps and chain adjusters, plus dedicated Race graphics.
As always, the 2-strokes come premix-only—no oil injection here—keeping things light and simple.
