2027 Beta RR Race Range Gets More Tech, More Flexibility and Race-Ready Updates

Beta has unveiled the 2027 RR Race enduro range, bringing a new wave of technical updates directly influenced by competition.

Built for riders who want the most race-focused version of Beta’s enduro platform, the RR Race models continue to follow the brand’s Rideability philosophy while adding more performance, more control and several model-specific engine updates.

The biggest changes for 2027 arrive on the four-strokes, with new electronics including Launch Control and Quickshifter, while the two-stroke range receives updates to the piston, main bearings and engine character.

Launch Control and Quickshifter for the 4-Strokes

The 2027 RR Race 4T models receive two major electronic upgrades already introduced on the X-Pro range.

Launch Control offers five different levels of intervention and is designed to maximise traction off the start by controlling torque delivery and reducing unnecessary wheelspin or wheelies.

The new Quickshifter allows upshifts without closing the throttle, helping riders maintain uninterrupted acceleration.

XGRIP Engine Mounts for More Flex and Control

The handlebar control unit has also been redesigned to integrate Launch Control and Quickshift alongside the existing two-level Traction Control and two engine maps.

More Reliable Electronics and Engine Updates

Beta has also fitted an improved voltage regulator, delivering a more stable power supply and improved battery charging performance during long and demanding races.

On the 430 and 480 four-stroke models, the intake valves now use titanium with an optimised finish to improve durability under racing loads.

A new purely mechanical cam-chain tensioner, derived from the RX 450, replaces the previous hybrid mechanical-hydraulic system and is designed to reduce friction while improving engine behaviour during both hot and cold starts.

Two-Stroke Updates for Beta 2027

The two-stroke RR Race models also receive several important changes.

The 125 2T gets an updated piston aimed at improving the smoothness of power delivery.

The 250 and 300 2T receive new main bearings designed to reduce internal friction, improve engine rotation and increase reliability.

The 300 2T also gets revised cylinder-head geometry and exhaust-valve timing. The goal is a more progressive response at low and mid rpm, giving riders more usable torque without taking away the aggressive racing character of the engine.

New Components Across the Entire Range

Every 2027 RR Race model benefits from a number of common updates:

  • Reinforced chain guide
  • Softer grips to reduce rider fatigue
  • New LED headlight and redesigned mask
  • Larger and stronger front sprocket guard
  • Updated KYB suspension settings
  • New larger Trailtech speedometer
  • New wheel-speed sensor lead

The KYB suspension receives revised internal valving, with Beta continuing to refine the settings through its race programme.

Race-Proven Equipment Remains

The 2027 RR Race models retain the premium equipment that already separates them from the standard range.

That includes:

  • KYB closed-cartridge front fork
  • KYB C46 rear shock
  • Quick-release front axle
  • Reinforced handguards
  • Ergal footpegs with replaceable steel pins
  • ZF sprocket with aluminium centre and steel teeth
  • Dedicated non-slip racing seat
  • Racing graphics
  • Black anodised gear and rear brake levers
  • Red anodised aluminium oil caps
  • Red Ergal chain adjusters

As before, the two-stroke Race models come without automatic oil injection to save weight, although the system remains available through Beta’s Factory Parts catalogue.

Race First, Everything Else Second

The 2027 RR Race range does not completely reinvent Beta’s enduro platform. Instead, it focuses on the details that matter once the stopwatch starts.

More electronic control on the four-strokes, smoother and more refined two-stroke engines, updated suspension settings and several practical durability upgrades all push the RR Race models further towards a true competition-ready package.

The 2027 Beta RR Race range will be available from September.

Roast Mode

Launch Control, Quickshifter, Traction Control, revised KYB settings and titanium valves. At this rate, the only thing Beta still cannot electronically control is the rider choosing the wrong line.
