Eddie Karlsson became the first rider to ever finish the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo on an electric bike.
Erzberg is one of the hardest hard enduro races in the world. Out of 1,200 riders who started the weekend, only 15 finished the main race, and both of our riders were in that group.
Eddie lost his rear brake in the first minutes of the race when a handlebar caught his brake line at the start and pulled it loose. Most riders would have turned off to the paddock right there. Eddie kept going, running the engine brake at full and using walking mode to control the steepest downhills. Then he lost the phone that tracks his battery level, so he managed the whole second half of the race with no way to check how much charge was left. He still made it to the finish.

Tubliss 18″ Gen: 2.0
Toby pushed hard from the start, fought through arm pump and the endless rocks of Carl’s Dinner, and brought his bike home too. Both riders finished inside the top 10 in our first ever Red Bull Erzbergrodeo.
This is the full story of how we made history at Erzberg, from the start line to the final checkpoint.
