WADE YOUNG to take on the Stars of EnduroGP!
A few days before the Trentino Grand Prix, the first Hard Enduro round in the history of the FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship, Sherco Factory has confirmed the presence of an expert in the field: Wade YOUNG (RSA)!
It will not be the first EnduroGP race in Wade YOUNG‘s career. Indeed, the South African participated in the Romanian Grand Prix in Buzau in 2013 before heading for a Hard Enduro career.
Only 22 years old, YOUNG already has a very solid track record; indeed, the rider from KwaZulu-Natal became the youngest person to win the Roof of Africa at the age of just 16! And there have been many podiums at other major Extreme events like Romaniacs and Megawatt in 2016, Alestrem (2016, 2017, 2018) and Sea to Sky 2017. Not forgetting the victories at the Lagares XL and Hells Gate in 2017!
Red Bull
For his very first participation at “The Wall”, Wade YOUNG will face the likes of Steve HOLCOMBE (GB – Beta), Christophe NAMBOTIN (F – Gas Gas) and Danny MCCANNEY (GB – Gas Gas) in the Enduro 3 category, riding a 300 SEF-R, and he will be a contender for the victory, not only in class but also on scratch (EnduroGP).
So we will see a great Wild Card arrive at the Trentino GP on June 29 and 30… and that’s sure to add a little more intensity and spectacle to a race that already looks like a classic! See you in Pietramurata on the last weekend in June to admire the crème de la crème of World Enduro as they take on the first “Hard Enduro” race.
