The Red Bull Romaniacs Prolog Finals delivered a spectacular opening to the rally, with thousands of fans gathering in the centre of Sibiu to watch the world’s best riders battle over rocks, logs, tyres and towering man-made obstacles.
Kabakchiev takes control in Gold
In the Gold Class, Teodor Kabakchiev produced an outstanding ride from start to finish to claim victory. Mitch Brightmore pushed hard throughout the final and secured second place, while defending Romaniacs winner Manuel Lettenbichler completed the podium.
With the urban racing now complete, the fight will move into the Romanian wilderness, where the riders face four demanding Offroad Days.
Jiawei Sun delivers a flawless Silver Final
The Silver Class offered everything expected from a Romaniacs Prolog: speed, precision and relentless racing over the iconic obstacles.
Jiawei Sun completed a superb run to take victory, finishing ahead of Lorenz Steinkellner, who secured second following an intense battle. Australian rider Sandon Kerswell completed the podium with a determined performance.
Historic father-and-son finish in Bronze
The Bronze Class Final produced one of the most memorable finishes in Red Bull Romaniacs history.
In a dramatic sprint to the line, Jesús Zavala narrowly defeated his own son, Stanislas Zavala, to claim victory. Together, they became the first father-and-son pairing to share a Red Bull Romaniacs podium. Sébastien Garreau finished third to complete a remarkable top three.
It was a unique moment combining family, competition and the true spirit of hard enduro.
Mario Roman puts CFMOTO on top
The Adventure Ultimate Class may have produced the biggest surprise of the Prolog. Racing the CFMOTO, Mario Roman Serrano delivered a flawless, mistake-free ride and took control of the final while his rivals became caught in traffic.
Pol Tarrés – YAMAHA, lost valuable time during several close battles, including a fight with Kevin Gallas, allowing Roman to open the gap and take the victory. Dieter Rudolf – KTM, competing at Red Bull Romaniacs on an adventure bike for the first time, completed an impressive ride to finish third.
With Roman, Tarrés, Rudolf and several other experienced riders in the field, Adventure Ultimate already looks capable of stealing the show during the four days in the Carpathian Mountains.
The real test begins now
The Prolog provided the speed, drama and entertainment, but Red Bull Romaniacs is only just beginning.
The competitors now leave Sibiu behind and head into the mountains, where long days, technical climbs, rocky descents and unpredictable terrain will decide the final results.
