Alfredo Gomez returns in Romania to race at Carpath Enduro 2016, between 24th – 26th of June in Predeal!

After winning the 3rd place at HARD ENDURO PIATRA NEAMT  in 2014, when he raced with Graham Jarvis, Jonny Walker and top riders from the world circuit, Alfredo Gomez returns in Romania to race at Carpath Enduro 2016, between 24th – 26th of June in Predeal!

Alfredo Gomez was born in 1989 in Madrid, Spain. Since he was very young  he proved that he had very good skills and lots of talent racing trials and with work and determination he won the World Junior Championship.

Then he gave up on a promising career in trials and surprised everyone by choosing enduro and hard enduro riding, always finishing on the podium.

In 2014 he won:

2^nd  place @ EXTREME LAGARES

3^rd   place @ ERZBERG RODEO

3^rd  place @ HEPN

In 2015 he continued even better and he won:

1^st   place @ EXTREME LAGARES

3^rd   place @ REDBULL ROMANIACS

4^th  place @ Super Enduro World Championship

In 2016, Alfredo Gomez had a great start at enduro competitions and he claimed overall victory at RedBull Minas Riders in Brasil. Now he rides for KTM Factory Racing Team and he has a KTM 300exc bike.

Carpath Enduro is the old Hard Enduro Piatra Neamt race wich now is: 

CUP STAGE – FIM EUROPE ENDURO EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP

CUP STAGE – EXTREME ENDURO EASTERN – EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

CUP STAGE – ROMANIAN HARD ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP

TRACK DETAILS:

PROLOG  mostly natural, but also with arranged obstacles.

DAY 1 & DAY 2 The track lenght will be approximately 100 – 120 km (depending on the race class). The highest point will be reached in Piatra Mare (1800 m). This will offer you a varied view: forest, rivers, „single trails” paths, tziki-tzaki and an amazing alpine lanscape. All of the tracks are well marked. We are sure that you will find Carpath Enduro to be a great race, at the same standards like HEPN, even better, considering that this new location is more beautiful and amazing for extreme enduro.

MARKING INFO  The track will be marked with tape and arrows.
