Red Bull Erzbergrodeo 2025: the 29th edition of the world’s most renowned Extreme Enduro race will take place on the mighty stage of the Styrian Erzberg even without FIM World Championship status!

The cancellation of the 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship recently caused many questions and speculation within the motorcycle offroad scene. The Red Bull Erzbergrodeo remains unimpressed by this – and will gather the international offroad elite and thousands of ambitious amateurs at the ‘Iron Giant’ from May 29th to June 1st 2025 as planned.

With last week’s cancellation of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship (HEWC) 2025, speculation also arose that many renowned Hard Enduro racing events might be cancelled. Red Bull Erzbergrodeo race promotor Karl Katoch can reassure fans from all over the world:
“The cancellation of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship hardly affects us at all. The Red Bull Erzbergrodeo has been an established fixture in the motorcycle offroad world for almost three decades and has become one of the most renowned events in the scene without the involvement of the FIM. After 3 years of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo 2025 will take place as usual, even without FIM World Championship status. We are looking forward to welcoming top athletes from more than 50 nations to the Erzberg again this year and to celebrating the biggest festival of the Hard Enduro scene with partners from the very beginning, such as Red Bull and KTM, who continue to stand behind the event unwaveringly.”, says Katoch.

Another highlight of the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo 2025 can already be revealed: “As Heinz Kinigadner told me today from the OASIS Rally, KTM will be bringing Dakar Rally winner Daniel Sanders to Erzberg this year. Sanders will contest the Blakläder Iron Road Prologue 2025 on his Rally KTM and surely thrill the fans!”, says Karl Katoch happily.
