Kornel Ott misses the podium, while Zsolt Varga and Vlad Hămbășan round out the Top 3!
The second day at Enduro Heniu brought the exact kind of challenge that defines Hard Enduro – tough but not over the top. If Norbi spent over 4 hours on the bike, it’s safe to say the riders were truly pushed.
Riding for Master Bike Cluj, Norbert started first and finished first after a relentless effort in wet, technical terrain.
“I felt great, like always at Heniu! The track was truly Hard, especially with the rain. The bike ran flawlessly, and I’m happy to grab another podium here,” he told ZonaEnduro.

While most expected Kornel Ott to grab second, a navigation mistake cost him valuable time and pushed him down to 5th.
Taking advantage of the opening, Zsolt Varga (NordicaMoto.ro) rode a calculated race, finishing just 12 minutes behind the leader.
“The mousse I used in the prologue threw me off, but on Day 2 I switched setups and felt fantastic. This was the perfect training for ErzbergRodeo!” he said.
Vlad Hămbășan, also from Master Bike Cluj, had a steady and composed performance to secure third.
Enduro Heniu once again proved its reputation, delivering a serious test without crossing the line.
“It rained, it was wet, but people were happy. It was a real Hard Enduro without being excessive. Last year was tougher…” shared race director Stroișteanu Bart.
