The three-year agreement represents an important step forward for HEWC, strengthening the series’ technical platform while aligning with a tyre brand that has already proven its performance at the very top level of hard enduro racing.

Hard enduro is the ultimate stress test — for riders, bikes, and equipment alike. From multi-hour races and extreme terrain to constant changes in grip and weather, tyre choice can decide races, championships, and sometimes whether you even reach the finish.
By partnering with Plews Tyres, HEWC ensures that the championship is backed by a brand deeply embedded in the discipline and fully committed to supporting riders across the most demanding conditions in the sport.
Developed in the United Kingdom and refined through elite-level racing, Plews Tyres already bring serious credentials into the partnership. Riders competing on Plews rubber have secured two FIM Junior Hard Enduro World Championship titles, with James Moore claiming the 2025 crown and Mitch Brightmore taking the title in 2024 — both aboard the Plews Tough One tyre.

From 2026 onward, Plews Tyres will be the only tyre brand licensed to advertise and provide official on-site support at all HEWC rounds, giving riders direct access to race-proven products and professional service throughout the season.
HEWC Championship Director Ross Whitehead welcomed the partnership as a key milestone for the series:
“On behalf of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, I am delighted to welcome Plews Tyres as an official partner of the series. This is a significant and strategic partnership that reflects the shared values of performance, professionalism, and long-term commitment to hard enduro at the very highest level.”
“Plews Tyres have demonstrated a clear dedication to the sport, and their decision to invest directly into the championship speaks volumes about their belief in its future. Hard enduro is the ultimate proving ground, and having a brand with genuine championship pedigree supporting every round strengthens the credibility of the series.”
As part of the agreement, Plews Tyres will be present at all nine rounds of the 2026 HEWC calendar, offering:
The Plews paddock area is set to become a central hub across race weekends, featuring rider signings, giveaways, competitions, and dedicated hospitality designed to enhance the overall fan and competitor experience.
Josh Plews, founder of Plews Tyres, underlined the importance of the partnership:
“Aligning Plews Tyres with the biggest and most prestigious hard enduro championship in the world has long been a personal ambition. This is a significant investment for us, but one we are proud to make as we place Plews directly at the heart of the sport we are passionate about.”
The partnership launches alongside HEWC’s nine-round global calendar for 2026, spanning Europe, Africa, and North America, and reflects the championship’s continued push toward greater professionalism, technical consistency, and long-term stability.
With Plews Tyres now embedded as an exclusive partner, the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship continues to build a unified platform that benefits riders, teams, organisers, and fans alike.
