Losing out to rival Andrea Verona (GASGAS) on Day Three, Garcia was determined to restore order today and came out swinging.

Setting the fastest time on the opening test, he then won the MOTUL special test to extend his advantage. Signing off his day with the fastest time in the penultimate AIROH test, Garcia won the day by twenty-four seconds over Verona.

Garcia now enters the fifth day of the FIM ISDE with a one-minute lead over the Italian. Great Britain’s Nathan Watson (Honda) maintains his position of third overall.

In the Enduro1 class there was no change, with Verona again dominating proceedings. France’s Zach Pichon (Sherco) raced his way to second position. Great Britain’s Jamie McCanney (Husqvarna) finished fifteen seconds behind in third.

Garcia was best of the Enduro2 class, thanks to his overall winning ride. Watson followed him home for second. The fight for third was close with Steve Holcombe (Beta) facing a challenge from France’s Hugo Blanjoue (KTM). Keeping him at bay, he managed to beat him by eight seconds.

The battle for top honours remains tightest in Enduro3. Sweden’s Mikael Persson put in a strong second half of the day to take the win by six seconds from Spain’s Jaume Betriu (KTM). Leo Le Quere (Sherco) completed the top three.
