Timo Bergmann at his first win in Romania at Sebis Enduro Challenge

Last week-end, in the second round of the Romanian EnduroCross Championship, a round with lots of action, especially in the Expert Class.

The pilot promoted by Zona Enduro, Timo Bergmann had a great start, coming second in the first corner of the track with inches apart from the en-titre champion, Viking Pruszynski’s Daniel Nicolae. At the end of the first lap, Timo in in the lead.

Close behind him was another rider in Zona Enduro rider shirt, Leric George, and Geany took the lead in the middle of the 2nd round. 50 m before the end of the 2nd lap, Geany falls in the river and Timo is now back in the lead. “Was a good race in Romania, I liked that always I had to push hard. I had a great battle with Leric George all race.”

In third and last lap, Timo has increased the lead up to a little over 1 minute and after allmost 2 hours on the bike the 1st position is secured! “My first win in Romania! Was so great! The tarck was pretty slippery, we had sun today, but in the forest was wet. In the end the race was fast and challenging, was fun! ”

Next race for Timo in Romania will be the second round of the Classic Enduro Championship, in Cluj wich will be held next week-end 6-7 June in Beliş.
