What do an International Artist, a two time Oscar Winner and a dirtbike have in common? The 2016 Redbull Romaniacs

Lorenzo Quinn the famous international artist and son of the two times Oscar winner Anthony Quinn will be competing in the 2016 Redbull Romaniacs hard enduro race with his two stroke KTM 300 in the Bronze Class.

Lorenzo is a hard enduro enthusiast and has been riding the bike ever since he can remember but for many years he had to set it aside because of his work and other life priorities. He has now rediscovered his passion for the bike and uses it often as a way to find inspiration for his art. Riding the bike gives him an immense sense of joy and exhilaration which he then pours back into his art.

Lorenzo is now 49 and for next years 50th birthday he has decided to give himself the present of traveling to Romania and compete in the hard enduro race. Lorenzo will be bringing a team of competitors with him: the hard enduro racer Xavi Leon who will compete in the Gold category, a two time finisher Luca Salis and track racer Victor Casas.

For Lorenzo it will be more an objective of participating and completing the race. Lorenzo is represented worldwide by Halcyon Gallery in London but would love to exhibit his work in Romania in the near future as he believes his art will be well received in the country.
