VIDEO. Abestone Hard Enduro 2021 – Day 1 and 2 Highlights

World of Extreme and all its elements reunited for the FIM World Hard Enduro Championship Rd3 Abestone Hard Enduro in Abetone, Italy. 9-11 July 2021

The action at the FIM’s World Hard Enduro Championship 2021 season resumed with the debut edition of Abestone Hard Enduro. Normally planned to be the third round, the race became first to collect championship points after chaotic last minute Extreme Lagares failure and cancellation of Red Bull Erzbergrodeo. In the end championship organizers put great effort and took everyone back to good old racing.

Race weekend started with free practice and time practice sessions on Friday and Billy Bolt was the man to set the best time. He looked sharp and thirsty for a taste of victory. Defending WESS champion Manuel Lettenbichler was P2 and hard enduro legend Graham Jarvis P3.

Day 2 featured 3 special tests and again it was Billy on top, Mani with P2. P3 was filled by another legend, Taddy Blazusiak, this time. The fastest 50 riders qualified for the Super Final and rest to attend Mitas Final.
