Golden Mountain – the last race of the season in Romanian Hard Enduro Championship is won by Raul Patrau. A race that proved to be the hardest one of the year!!
The Golden Mountain Hard Enduro begins by slightly threatening the riders with a little rain, something that on the last day of the race will be the icing on the cake, making the final of the season remain in the minds of all those who participated in the event! Haita – never disappoints!
The one who will remind you even better is Raul Patrau, the winner of the race! Not only because of the difficult conditions on the last day of the race, but also because on the last day he has to recover an advance of almost 40 minutes! And in the given conditions, even on dry ground it seems impossible!
I started the prologue well, it was ok, and I finished 3rd. On Saturday I had a very demanding route, especially since it was starting to rain quite well, the ground was already wet. I finished the first after almost 4 hours on the bike, hours I’ve spent it alone in the woods!
On the last day I had to pull hard! For more than an hour I was on a climb where I pulled and pushed the bike, the ground was extremely wet and slippery! Here we made teams to pull the bikes up, but by the time I made the climb, those in front of me had taken a generous lead of almost 40 minutes!
Somehow I recovered until the end! For me it was also the hardest day of hard enduro in the whole championship, if not the hardest race so far, with almost 6 hours on the bike! I liked it!Raul Patrau – Master Bike Cluj
In third place is NordicaMoto’s Varga ZSOLT with 10h and 11 minutes on the bike followed by Jeremias IBY! We need to mention the handful of riders who finished the race in PRO Class – Ciprian FURTUNA P4, Robert SZAKACS P5, Florian KIRCHMAYER P6 and Claudiu BOZESAN P7.
GoRacing’s Kornel OTT wins the EXPERT CLASS where only 17 riders reach the finish line! with an hour lead in front of Romania’s Vlad CASIAN HAMBASAN. Tamas ELEKES is in 3rd.
Leonardo Coradi GHERMAN is the HOBBY winner followed by Alin TAMAS and Alexandru AVRAMESCU! Here, 12 riders saw the finish line, the last one Lukas VONGREJ with almost 14hours and 20 minutes on the bike!!
