There was no better place for it — Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler sealed his fifth FIM Hard Enduro World Championship title in front of a roaring home crowd at the legendary GetzenRodeo in Germany. The victory marked his fourth consecutive championship crown and capped yet another season of total domination aboard his KTM 300 EXC.
The weekend began with Friday’s Prologue, where Lettenbichler placed third, just seven seconds off the top spot in a field separated by mere seconds. That strong start set the stage for Saturday’s decisive race day.

In the morning GetzenRace qualifier, Mani was untouchable. Over 12 demanding laps, he pushed hard from the start, quickly pulling a massive gap and eventually winning by over four minutes, earning valuable championship points and maximum confidence heading into the afternoon final.
When the gate dropped for the GetzenChamp, Lettenbichler rocketed into the lead and never looked back. Finding his rhythm immediately, he rode with the precision and control that have defined his 2025 season. By mid-race, he had built a 12-minute advantage and was the only rider not to be lapped. Riding flawlessly to the finish, the German hero took the race win, overall victory, and the world title — all in one incredible performance.
Lettenbichler’s 2025 campaign has been nothing short of dominant, with victories at The Valleys Hard Enduro, Silver Kings, and Sea to Sky, along with podiums at Abestone and Hixpania. Clinching the world title with one round to spare, he once again proved to be the undisputed master of Hard Enduro.
Manuel Lettenbichler:
“So that’s GetzenRodeo done and what a crazy day it’s been! In the quali race this morning I had a really good pace and I was pushing a lot, so I managed to just keep building on my lead to win that with over four minutes to spare which was really cool.
The main race was go-time for me. I really wanted to win it in front of my home crowd, and I honestly wasn’t even thinking about the championship at all. It’s so special to win the championship here at Getzen, the crowd was insane and I’m honestly speechless at how motivating they were. I felt like I was at my best today, and it paid off. I’m really proud of the whole Red Bull KTM team, they have worked so hard all year so to clinch the title with one round to spare is incredible. I can’t believe we have done this for four years in a row now!”
For Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt, GetzenRodeo was a weekend of recovery and resilience. After a challenging morning race where he struggled with setup and finished 11th, the Brit regrouped and came back strong for the afternoon GetzenChamp final.

Starting inside the top five, Billy fought his way into third as the track conditions deteriorated. Staying composed and consistent, he maintained that position to the finish, securing another podium and solidifying second place in the championship standings heading into the final round in Lesotho.
Billy Bolt:
“It’s been a difficult day for me here in Germany. I struggled a lot during the first race this morning. We had a few issues we had to iron out and obviously, finishing 11th in that one is a long way from where I want to be.
On the positive side, we improved things for the second race and I was able to make my way through to finish third. Again, not where I want to be – I’m here to fight for wins. Huge congratulations to Mani for wrapping up another championship, and with that done now, we can look ahead to the last round and then start focusing on the indoors. The whole Getzen team here have put on an amazing event once again, and thank you to the thousands of fans who came here to cheer us all on!”
Rounding out the podium, Sherco Factory Racing’s Mario Roman delivered another stellar performance, finishing second overall after a composed and tactical ride.
Roman played the long game, conserving energy during the morning’s sprint-style GetzenRace, then coming alive during the gruelling GetzenChamp main event. He climbed the brutal rock sections and forests of Saxony with trademark smoothness, eventually finishing just under 13 minutes behind the world champion for another well-earned podium.
Mario Román:
“I’m super happy with my performance — really happy! Congrats to Manny, he was riding so good, but I’m happy I chose a smaller engine for this race. I always ride the same bike, but this time I went with the 250 and it felt amazing.
For my riding style, it just works better — I make fewer mistakes, I can rev it more, and I get so much more traction. The 300 is like ‘wah, wah, wah,’ but the 250 fits me perfectly. For Roof of Africa I’m not sure yet because it’s a long and high-altitude race, but for the shorter summer races I’ll definitely choose the 250. It’s great for amateurs too — you don’t need a 300, bigger isn’t always better.”
With the 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship title now officially secured, Lettenbichler and the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team turn their focus to the season finale — the Roof of Africa in Lesotho (November 20–22) — before the sport transitions into the indoor season.
