Hard Enduro Arsenal 2024 delivered a great race, with lots of riders and really hard tracks! The season opener was a blast with lots of action in all race classes!
The fastest guy out there is David Cyprian who is no stranger to Romanian races! He took the win on all 3 days of racing. “New prolog track was pretty fast. We were expecting some new sections on Saturday but nothing came along. Nevertheless it was really demanding day. Few mistakes at the beginning kept things really interesting and kept me in fight with Norbi. He was riding really well! Towards the end of the day I pulled small gap and won. Track managers delivered on Sunday when we got 3 new difficult PRO loops. I got my rhythm in the beginning and was able to make it smoothly into the finish and celebrate victory. Overall nice weekend with great racing and some demanding tracks!”
As David said, riders had to ride almost mistake free. An the season looks to start good for Norbi also. “The rain made the track a really demanding one. For me, the break between seasons was too much, and after a long time without training I was surprised that in some moments of the race I was leading. A mistake free race for me, and I can call it a great season start for me and for the team!” said Norbi.
In third place is Raul Pătrău who had a nice race with Dieter Rudolf for the podium. “This year the race was on point, with everything! Prologue was fast, but somehow that’s how a prologue has to be. In the next day we had to search the grip on all hard sections. Was really wet, but manageable! Today, Adrian had the surprise for us, with some new sections. I am happy that I managed to keep my position in the race.” said Hard Enduro Poiana Rusca trackmanager – Raul.
In Top10 – PRO Class we have VARGA Zsolt and SULEA Cezar Nicolae both from GoRacing. 7 and 8 two good friends, SZAKACS Robert and ROGOJAN Emanuel – Master Bike Cluj. CSIZMAZIA Barnabas Botond blends between the Romanians in 9th place and in 10th – the young “soul” BOZEȘAN Claudiu!
The VETS are lead by CYPRIAN Zdenek who had and incredible peace this year! STROIȘTEANU Bart took the second place and NICOLAE Daniel is in 3rd. “This year was a really hard race!” said Bart. “We like it!”
GRIGORAȘ Maria won the GIRLS class, and she managed to rank 8th in the HOBBY Class which is such a big deal! MARES Celine, IONITA Mihaela and RADU Alexandra are the girls who had the courage to face Hard Enduro Arsenal Tracks!
OTT Kornel Jun. was and is a real phenomenon! First in the EXPERT Class with a 17 minutes gap between him and HAMBĂȘAN Vlad Casian! NISTOR Ovidiu Iulian gets on the podium! DUMITRU Ioan and ELEKES Tamas are in Top5!
Romanian Podium, not so often in such big races in HOBBY Class! ALIONESCU Ioan Andrei leads followed by MOGA Alexandru Adrian and STERP Ilie, all from the same club – Black Ryders Sibiu. ALIONESCU Alexandru and IGNAT David Ioan are in Top5!
