Colton Haaker wins King of the Motos

HUSQVARNA FACTORY SUPPORT RIDER AND ROCKSTAR ENERGY ATHLETE TAKES THE WIN AT THE CHALLENGING KING OF THE MOTOS.

In his first race on the Husqvarna, Colton Haaker finished King of the Motos on the top of the box with a champagne celebration. King of the Motos is one of the most challenging off-road races of its kind, and this year proved to be even tougher, according to the Rockstar Energy Athlete and Husqvarna Factory Support racer, who called the conditions “gnarly and twice as difficult as last year.”

But the harsh terrain didn’t stop him, as he finished 5 minutes ahead of the next competitor. Coming into King of the Motos, Haaker was determined to win by not missing any checkpoints and holding it wide open.

“It feels awesome to win.  The Husky TE 300 feels awesome and was light enough with lots of power to get me over the terrain,” said Haaker. “It was just one of those races where you just keep pushing forward. I was happy to come out on top and it’s an awesome start for me and Husky being together.”

Next Haaker takes on EnduroCross as he heads straight from his win into training and testing.
