Adventure Ultimate gets serious! Mario Roman switch classes at Red Bull Romaniacs!

The Adventure Bike category continues to grow, and in 2026 the Adventure Ultimate class looks set to be one of the most exciting battles of the Red Bull Romaniacs event.

Mario Roman will make his debut in the class on a CFMOTO 450MT, after standing on the Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro GOLD podium five times. He will face strong competition from Jonny Walker on Triumph, who finished just three minutes and 43 seconds behind Pol Tarres in 2025.

With more demanding terrain, more frequent technical sections and bigger mountain challenges, Adventure Ultimate will truly put the “hard” into Adventure Bike racing.

The new Adventure Core class will bridge the gap between Ultimate and Lite, offering tough Romaniacs-style tracks for riders who want a serious challenge. Meanwhile, Adventure Lite may be more accessible, but it is still far from a casual ride, taking competitors into high alpine terrain and demanding trails.
