Day 1 of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at 24MX Alestrem kicked off with a sharp and intense battle in the S3 Xtrem Test, where the world’s best riders went head-to-head on a fast, technical course packed with tight sections, tricky obstacles, and high-speed lines.
At the front, the fight was as close as it gets. Manuel Lettenbichler came out on top by just 0.26 seconds, narrowly beating Billy Bolt in a test that left almost no room for mistakes. Mitch Brightmore completed the top three after another strong ride against the toughest field in the sport.
The opening day in France already showed how tight the 2026 season could become. One short test, three big names, and less than a second between them — hard enduro is fully awake.
