Since Day one, Teodork Kabackhiev and David Cyprian started in high peace. On the 50km Prologue Track, the fastest was David, with just 15 seconds. The Bulgarian rider pushed hard right after the start of the second day, and in some parts of the track, he was 20 minutes in front of the pack, but a small navigation mistake put him back in 2nd place, being penalized with 12 minutes.
The race on day 3 was again relaunched for the two young riders, but Teo was really on fire this weekend! 8 minutes in front of David Cyprian! Final day, again won by Cyprian, but with just 1 minute.
Teodor Kabakchiev: “It’s a WIN for Bulgaria and Econt! After 4 days of racing, we did it!! ![]()
Thanks, everyone for the incredible support! I would like to congratulate everyone who finished this race, I was really nice and had hard tracks! Thanks to the organizers for making such a great event! I will be happy to come again next year and fight! “Te iubesc, Romania!”
David Cyprian: “Long race with lots of ups and downs, but I enjoyed myself. We are on the right track to getting competitive again. Round of applause for superb organization and all the riders that did participate in the race. The next one is Serbia Xross Challenge in the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship!”
Alfredo Gomez: “The race was tough for me, I had lots o problems with the bike, some mistakes also and I ended up third. It was good training for AG RACING Team, but on the racing side, not so good. Looking forward to Serbia now, for Xross Challenge, and let’s hope we have a good race there with all the training we had last two weeks in Romania.”
