The roar of engines is set to echo once again along Newcastle’s iconic Quayside as Red Bull Tyne Ride, the UK’s toughest head-to-head motorcycle event, makes its return on Saturday, 30th August 2025.
After a thrilling debut last year that drew thousands of fans, the event is back, bigger and bolder, bringing together 14 top international pros and 8 talented wildcards for an all-out battle on one of the most creative and challenging courses in the sport.
The unique head-to-head format will see riders go bar-to-bar across three knockout rounds before a nail-biting final showdown crowns the 2025 champion. Inspired by motocross, enduro, BMX, mountain biking, and action sports, the course pushes competitors to the limit with daring obstacles and jaw-dropping design.
“The course is insane – hugely creative in track design, with features inspired by different action sports. It’s really going to challenge the competitors.” Billy Bolt.
Fans will see some of the biggest stars in the world of enduro taking on the Quayside challenge, including:
Alongside them, a lineup of rising UK talents and international wildcards will battle for glory: Mitch Brightmore, Jack Price, Matt Green, Eddie Karlsson, Will Hoare, Toby Martyn, Dan Peace, Charlie Frost, Dec Bullock, Burt Crayston, Jack Spencer, Joe Clayton, Richard Moorhouse, Alfie Royle, Jack Winn, James Allen, Rosie Rowett, and Chloe Richardson.
Just like last year, the event is free for the public, giving fans a chance to experience world-class motorcycle action right in the heart of Newcastle. The 2024 edition saw thousands lining the riverbanks as 16 riders went head-to-head in a festival of speed, skill, and adrenaline.
This year promises to raise the bar even higher. With the mix of global stars and hungry newcomers, every heat will be unpredictable, every obstacle a test, and every race a battle to remember.
If you love the sound of high-revving engines, the smell of burning rubber, and the thrill of world-class racing, then mark your calendars for Saturday, 30th August 2025.
Red Bull Tyne Ride isn’t just a race – it’s a full-throttle spectacle of skill, power, and pure adrenaline.
