Mitch Brightmore claimed victory at Wild Willy’s Extreme in Tong, Great Britain, delivering another strong result for the X-GRIP Racing Team ahead of next week’s FIM Hard Enduro World Championship round in Sweden.
The race, held at the Parkwood Off Road Centre near Bradford, marked round six of the 2026 ACU British Extreme Enduro Championship.

Strong Start in Dusty Conditions
With the course extremely dry and dusty, getting a clean start was crucial. Brightmore did exactly that, taking the holeshot and leading the first half of the opening lap.
The GASGAS rider had not walked the course before the race and briefly took the wrong route at the top of a hill, allowing Billy Bolt to move into the lead. Brightmore stayed close, and when Bolt later made a mistake and crashed, Mitch retook first place. From there, he began to pull away.
Only Rider Under 15 Minutes
As the race progressed, Brightmore found better lines and steadily increased his advantage. His fastest lap was an impressive 14:57.89, making him the only Championship-class rider to break the 15-minute barrier.
After ten laps and a total race time of 2:35:12.55, Brightmore crossed the finish line with a 6:03.59 advantage over Billy Bolt.Toby Shaw completed the podium in third, one lap behind.
