King of the Hill Hard Enduro 2015 – a really heavy experience!

After the great “King of the Hill 2014”  it was clear for me to join it in 2015 as well. Not only the nice Prolog in the middle of Arad and the two Race Days where great. Also I meet a lot of really nice people from the “Hard Enduro Club Arad”. And as it is the first big Race of the Year in Romania it was clear for me to go and open my Hard Enduro Year 2015.

So I ask a few friends to join and we packed the van and started to drive to have a funny and crazy week in Arad. Good that we went a few days earlier to have some fun in front of the race with playing around in the mountains of Chioroc.

On Friday the race started and every rider had to make a hot lap on the nice designed Prolog. It was really funny and of cause, ridable for every rider as well.

With place No. 38 on the prolog, I started into race day 2.

The rain during the night made the 80 km round to a really heavy experience and I was lucky to finish the day in the Pro class with only one missing checkpoint.

On the last day of the King of the Hill, our friends from the HECA Enduro Club prepared a new style of Race format for us. It was a really nice 15 km track with a few long riverbeds and some step uphill’s. The goal was to have fun and make as many rounds you can do in 3 Hours.

In total a perfect Race weekend and I ended up 24^th in the Pro class. Thanks to all my friends that makes these races so enjoyable and funny.
