Kabakchiev in control at PRO
Teodor Kabakchiev dominated the second day of racing at Ditrocks, completing the course in 4:01:59 and opening a serious gap over the rest of the PRO field.
Alfredo Gomez Cantero finished second in 4:25:53, almost 24 minutes behind the Bulgarian, while local Ditriders representative James Moore completed the podium with 4:30:53, at 28 minutes and 54 seconds.
The fight behind them was much tighter. Kornel Ott took fourth in 4:33:30, only 2 minutes and 37 seconds behind Moore, while Jozsa Norbert Levente completed the top five in 4:35:40.
Zsolt Varga followed in sixth with 4:41:05, ahead of Thomas Scales on 4:42:37 and Cezar Șulea, eighth with 4:49:57. Tobin Miller finished ninth in 5:09:12, while Rienk Tuinstra completed the top 10 with a final classified time of 6:36:59, after receiving a one-hour penalty.
Just two minutes between the Expert podium riders
The closest fight of the day came in Expert, where Sandon Kerswell won with 3:26:03.
Mădălin Chelcea finished only 1 minute and 40 seconds behind, while Norbert Glockner was another 29 seconds further back, completing the podium just 2 minutes and 9 seconds behind the winner.
Eduard Petcu took fourth in 3:39:50, with David Pop completing the top five in 3:42:38.
Harpa leads the Veteran class
In Veterans, Paul Cristian Harpa set the pace with a winning time of 3:48:33.
Bart Stroișteanu finished second, 11 minutes and 16 seconds behind, while Raul Gadola took third with 4:16:02. Tibor Hostyanszki followed in fourth on 4:40:37, with Radim Zurek completing the top five in 4:56:00.
Butiu leads a close Hobby podium
The Hobby class also produced a close battle at the front. Marin Bogdan Butiu won the day with 2:42:39, followed by Matei Tudor Bortan, only 6 minutes and 43 seconds behind.
Filip Macarie finished third in 2:50:20, less than one minute behind Bortan. Mario Pop took fourth with 2:57:56, while Nils Asmussen completed the top five in 3:02:49.
Magni takes G-Boys victory
In G-Boys, Piergiulio Magni claimed the win with a time of 3:31:27.
Viorel Constantin finished second, 22 minutes and 46 seconds behind, followed by Iulian Șchiopu in third with 4:01:50. Robert McKee took fourth in 4:04:32, while Ferenc Szabo completed the top five with 4:08:46.
Ioniță fastest in the Girls class
Mihaela Isabela Ioniță won the Girls class with 4:29:17, finishing 25 minutes and 17 seconds ahead of Krisztina Adrienn Toth. Andrea Barabas Agoston completed the classified finishers in third, with a final time of 8:50:37 after a two-hour penalty.
