The young rider sponsored by Cyprian s.r.o, Kenny, Airoh and Univok (KTM) is back for the third time in a row to race for “King of the Hill” crown. Looks like romanian races fits David like a glove. Last season the rider from Czech Republic finished on the 3th overall position in Romania’s Hard Enduro Championship. “It was a very good year, a lot of great races around Romania with many challenges. I really like the terrain, the way the races are prepared and the people around the event. Unfortunately I have missed a race but I think there wouldn’t be any changes in the overall result for me.

Back in 2013, the year when King of the Hill was taken to extreme by the heavy rain, David Cyprian finished 1st in the Hobby Class. In 2014 he had bad luck, the carburator problem right after the start forced him to return to the basecamp. This did cost him precious time in the overall result sending him back to the 13th position.

Last year was full of good results for David: “I haven’t got any injuries. Made a six place in Extreme Enduro Cup, got third in Romanian Extreme Enduro Championship. Finished 17th on “Sea to Sky”, and won the expert team class on Romaniacs. So, yes, the season was very good for me.

The plans for 2015 are simple for the 17 years old boy: “I wanna race the Romanian Extreme Enduro Championship, European Extreme Enduro Championship and all RedBull races like Romaniacs, Sea to Sky, Roof of Africa and many others.

Asking about the new race format for #KOTH2015, David thinks that it is a good way to involve more spectators in a race, by having both the prologue and the 3th race on last day of racing in the city

Also, Zdenek Cyprian, the rider who has won all the Hard Enduro Races in Romania, including RedBull Romaniacs Expert Team Class, is back to defend his 2014 King of the Hill title at Hobby Class. “I like the terrain and Arad has some nice mountains, also the guys around the event are great! Last year was a little easy for me and I think the prologue was a little bit too dangerous for the Hobby Class, but I’m sure this year the event will be great!
