One Mountain, One Hat-Trick: Lettenbichler Targets Third Sea To Sky Win

Sea To Sky returns to Kemer, Türkiye, from 7–10 October 2026, with registration numbers already above last year’s level and another major battle expected on Mount Tahtalı.

At the centre of the story is Manuel Lettenbichler, who will chase a third consecutive victory. Standing in his way is Mario Román, the rider who has moved one step closer to the top in each of the past two editions.

Three races, three different challenges

Sea To Sky does not give riders much time to settle in. The action begins on Kemer Beach, where hundreds of competitors race along the shoreline in a fast battle for the best starting positions. With thousands of fans watching from just metres away, the Beach Race is short, intense and usually full of close fights.

The second challenge takes the riders into the forest. Dusty single tracks, rocky climbs, river crossings and narrow trails through the pine trees replace the open beach. Speed still matters, but clean navigation and energy management quickly become just as important.

The final day brings the race that defines Sea To Sky. Starting close to sea level, riders must climb towards the 2,365-metre summit of Mount Tahtalı. Loose rocks, long rock gardens, exposed trails and seemingly endless technical climbs stand between them and one of the most spectacular finish lines in Hard Enduro.

Can Lettenbichler complete the hat-trick?

Lettenbichler conquered the mountain in both 2024 and 2025. Another victory would give the German rider a historic Sea To Sky hat-trick. However, Mario Román has been getting closer.

The Spaniard finished third in 2024 before improving to second in 2025. He has already shown that he has the speed and experience to fight Lettenbichler—and now only one step remains. That progression gives the 2026 race a clear main question: can Román finally stop Mani on Mount Tahtalı?

Record participation expected in Kemer

Registrations have already passed the figures recorded in 2025, with factory professionals, world champions and ambitious amateur riders preparing to travel to Kemer.

The event gives amateurs the rare chance to compete on the same terrain as the best Hard Enduro riders in the world—although Mount Tahtalı does not care what name is printed on the back of your jersey.

Sea To Sky 2026 takes place from 7–10 October. The full programme and registration details are available at www.seatosky.com.tr.

The beach decides the starting order. The mountain decides who gets remembered.
