Hard Enduro Olanesti Delivers: Long Days, and a and a Taste of Romaniacs

If anyone thought Hard Enduro Olănești was just another cup-style race, they were quickly proven wrong. With two intense offroad days that piled up more saddle time than most three-day events, riders were truly pushed to their limits. The terrain was raw, technical, and long — no wonder that Red Bull Romaniacs will use Olănești as the official Day 2 finish zone in just two weeks.

The PRO class at HEO 2025 offered a brutal mix of stamina and skill, with riders grinding through hours of technical terrain more typical of a multi-stage rally. With nearly 8 hours total time for the winner and over 5 hours on the first offroad day alone, this was no ordinary cup race—it was a true hard enduro gauntlet.

Ciprian Codruț Furtună (Apres Snow Racing Team) – Confident and efficient
Furtună opened the race in solid form with a fast prologue (32m53s), then showed serious control during the marathon Day 2 (5h15m) and sealed the win on Sunday with a clean 2h07m ride. Calm, smooth, and in command from start to finish.

Claudiu Bozeșan (Black Ryders Sibiu) – Consistent and determined
Bozeșan clocked 34m01s in the prologue, followed by 5h31m on Day 2 and 2h05m on Day 3—almost matching Furtună’s pace on the final day. He kept the pressure on but couldn’t close the 15-minute gap.

Hudson Atkins (Hai la Mișcare Sibiu) – Aggressive and fast
Atkins had the fastest prologue of the top 3 (31m42s) and matched Bozeșan’s Day 2 pace almost exactly (5h32m), but a slightly slower Sunday ride (2h08m) put him just behind.

4th – Marius Achim Popovici (Top Cross T.C.S.) and 5th – Timo Bergmann (Go Racing) – both staying strong throughout the long hours and tough terrain.
